You know what you need. So why is it still so hard to live that way?

You've done the inner work. You've learned your patterns. You've gained the insight. But something still isn't translating into your everyday life.

You've done the inner work. You understand your patterns, where they come from, and what you want to change. But knowing yourself doesn't always change how you feel, relate, or live.

The Integrated Root™ is a relational approach to coaching.

Together, we bring what you understand about yourself into how you relate to your body, your sense of meaning, and the world you're part of.

1:1 coaching for women ready to move beyond understanding themselves — and begin living what they already know.

What becomes possible when insight becomes something you can live?

More choice instead of automatic reaction.

More ability to stay with difficult emotions without abandoning yourself.

Choices that reflect what actually matters to you.

A deeper relationship with your body and what it needs.

Relationships where you can stay connected to others without losing yourself.

A felt sense of belonging: to your people, your place, and the living world around you.

And, over time, the things you've understood intellectually become things you know how to live.

That's embodied change.

What We Work With

  • MIND | How we make meaning

Our stories, beliefs, patterns, values, identities, questions, and sense of purpose.

  • BODY | How we participate & experience

Sensation, emotion, interoception, stress responses, desire, energy, nourishment, and the embodied ways we move through the world.

  • EARTH | What we're part of

Place, plants, food, seasons, ancestry, community, ecology, and our relationship with the living world.

These aren't three separate parts of wellness. They're different dimensions of the same relational life.

About Brooke

Meet Brooke

My name is Brooke Bridges. I’m a Certified Somatic Cognitive Behavioral Coach, Certified Vitalist Herbalist, and Certified Nutrition Coach. I’ve also spent the past nine years speaking publicly about mental health — work that grew out of my own experiences with mental health struggles as a teen and young adult.

I bring both academic and theoretical training and deep experiential understanding to my work.

My own experiences have shaped the kind of support I believe in. In my past experiences with therapy, I sometimes found myself working with people who understood what I was going through intellectually, but had never experienced it themselves. When you're struggling to find your way through something as disorienting as disordered eating, self-harming behaviors, or a panic attack, there can be something powerful about being met by someone who understands not only the theory, but the lived experience of what it feels like to be there.

That doesn't replace training, knowledge, or professional skill. It deepens the way I show up.

I offer a relationship that is grounded in both understanding and presence — a space where you don't have to reduce yourself to a diagnosis, a pattern, or a problem to be solved.

Because ultimately, I don't believe the goal is simply to understand yourself better.

It's to be able to live from that understanding.

To make choices that feel like your own. To stay connected to yourself while staying connected to others. To listen to your body, your values, your desires, and your sense of what matters — and allow those things to shape the way you live.

That's the kind of work I’m here to do.

  • "Working with Brooke felt not as distant as a therapist but not as close as a friend — and that balance is exactly what I needed. She was invested in me without losing objectivity. I didn't know that was what coaching could be until I experienced it."

  • "I tend to have an all-or-nothing approach to everything. What I loved was that we focused on small, gradual changes instead of overhauling everything at once. Beginning with a conversation about values helped me feel grounded rather than obsessive. I never once felt overwhelmed throughout this process."

FAQ's

What is somatic CBT coaching?

It brings together two things: the cognitive side (your thoughts, beliefs, values, and patterns) and the body side (sensation, breath, and your nervous system). Insight helps you understand what's happening. Body-based practice helps you actually feel and respond differently.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is forward-focused. We work on how you want to live, respond, and feel, using practical tools, rather than trying to dig deeper into the issues from childhood or family systems.

It isn't therapy, and I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you're working with a therapist, coaching can sit alongside that work. If you're in crisis, please reach out to a mental health professional or a crisis line.

Who is this coaching for?

Women who've done a lot of inner work and understand their patterns, but still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. It's also for women moving through a big transition, and those wanting a more peaceful relationship with food and their body.

Do you offer nutrition coaching?

Yes. Nutrition is one of the ways clients start working with me. Rather than strict rules or meal plans, we look at how food, energy, and nourishment connect to stress, your body, and the way you live. I also offer cooking classes and recipes as a former chef myself, and I am nutrition coach certified through NASM.

If you have a medical condition that requires a specific diet, I'll work alongside your doctor or dietitian.

Where does herbalism come in?

As a vitalist herbalist, I sometimes bring plants into our work, like a tea blend or a simple daily ritual. And sometimes clients want a larger herbal protocol, which can also be a part of our coaching relationship.

Herbs are always optional. If you take medication or are pregnant or breastfeeding, we'll check that anything I suggest is safe for you.

Do you work online?

Yes. Sessions are held online and in-person in Ottawa, so you can work with me from anywhere.

What happens in a Deep Dive?

A Deep Dive is a focused 90-minute session on one thing you want to better understand, shift, or work through. We explore what's happening in your mind and body and how to connect that to your overall sense of belonging. You leave with a clear next step and a set of practices to take with you.

What happens on the discovery call?

It's a free 30-minute conversation to talk about what's going on for you, what you're hoping for, and whether working together feels like a good fit. There's no pressure to sign up.
